The start of the Arlberg-West mountain railway season - Zürs - Lech / Arlberg
The Arlberg mountain railways start the 2010/2011 winter season on Friday, November 26 according to the current weather and snow conditions!
The Ski Pass Central Pool West opens its sales center on Monday, November 22, 2010 from 8:00 a.m.to 12:00 noon and then the regular business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. will begin on Thursday, November 25.2010.
Your Guggis holiday hotel will issue your individual ski pass on-line in the hotel for you.
The snow making systems have been expanded in harmony with nature, technology and convenience in order to ensure a snowy holiday in Zürs – Lech on the Arlberg. Therefore, you can enjoy some leisure time and relax at the Hotel Guggis, your hotel at the slopes, after a great day of skiing from start of the season until late spring.
We are also pleased to inform you that the previously announced, one of a kind in the* world project of free wireless in the ski resort area Zürs on the Arlberg* is already operational for the start of the 2010/2011 season and covers an extensive area.
The environmentally friendly district heating power plant in Zürs aon the Arlberg is also new. On 20 October 2010, the efficient and environmentally friendly wood chip plant was put into operation and 98% of all businesses are already connected to this site.
And now, back to the start of the 2010/2011 start of the season in Lech – Zürs on the Arlberg:
On Saturday November 27, 2010, at 6:30p.m., the official winter opening takes place in Schlegelkopf-Arial in Lech am Arlberg with the motto: Lech- Zürs, Ski, Fashion & Snow.
Become enchanted by the winter snow landscape under a clear night sky – with live music and hot mulled wine.
The program includes a spectacular performance of the communal torch relay of the ski schools Lech, Zürs and Oberlech, as well as presentations of the local retailers’ new winter collection and a great fireworks display with many special effects …
