There are many ways down into the valley – one of the most fun and adventurous is the toboggan and bob run from Oberlech to Lech. At 1.2 kilometres in length, it winds its way round many curves through the forest, between tall, soft mountains of powder snow before reaching a fast final slope, where it ends in front of the bottom station of the cable railway. From there, you can be back at the start of the toboggan run within 4 minutes.
The toboggan run is open daily from 9.00 am – 10.00 pm and is illuminated in the evening. Snow and preparation ensure perfect conditions. Our tip: ride down on the agile little “bobs”, which can be hired from the Oberlech cable railway for a fee of €5.00 (€20.00 deposit). The €15.00 difference is refunded upon return.
